Renaissance Background Reducing Diluent is specifically formulated for certain types of antibodies that have a tendency to produce non-specific background staining in immunohistochemical techniques. Potent background reducing agents have been added to the antibody diluent that will dramatically reduce unwanted non-specific background staining in immunohistochemical procedure. It is especially effective for polyclonal antibodies such as synaptophysin, PLAP, kappa and lambda. The diluent can be used with all detection systems. The diluent is a coloured-coded turquoise for identification. It can also be used on an automated staining system.
