About CellSolv

Launched in January 2019, CellSolv® supplies and disposes of tissue processing chemicals used in Cellular Pathology. CellPath currently serves multiple NHS and private research laboratories throughout the UK.

The CellSolv® service is based on five key principles:

• Quality assured products: Operating from our ISO 13485 certified facility in Newtown, Mid-Wales, CellSolv® utilises CellPath's 28 years of manufacturing experience to provide our customers with consistent, reliable and high-quality products on time from a family business.
• Reliable and friendly service: CellSolv® provide both a delivery and waste collection service and aim to be clear and concise in our communications with customers in a timely manner.
• Added value: Through using our waste collection service, CellSolv® can complete all the necessary duty of care paperwork with our customers, saving them valuable time. We ensure this is always completed in line with waste regulations.
• Competitive pricing: CellSolv® operates in a lean and efficient manner, with savings passed onto customers where possible. For existing CellPath customers, we are able to offer bundle discounts when using the service.
• Minimising environmental impact: Running simultaneous product deliveries and chemical waste collection maximises our vehicle utilisation and reduces our environmental impact.

Helping you meet the NHS paperless 2020 initiative

We do not use paper consignment notes when collecting chemical waste, instead, we use electronic versions (e-consignments). An e-consignment note acts as both a hazardous waste consignment note and a duty of care controlled waste transfer note, but without the paper! Completed in the same way as a paper consignment note – the only difference is that you will review the information displayed on our service driver’s tablet and sign on the device instead of a piece of paper. 

Your account will be set up so that the e-document will be emailed directly to yourself, however, if you would like compliance documentation to be emailed to multiple people, please let us know their email address and we will add them to the recipient list.
